Big Boys Don't Cry; Unless they're getting shots...

Today was Lucas' 2 month appt. That means shots. While we were there the Dr. said that Tan could get his flu shot too. Shots for both. There was lots of screaming, crying, and tears. Lukie went first. The nurse was super fast (good; better than those who drag it out). Luke got really red in the face and held his breath for like 15 seconds before he finally started screaming. While I was comforting him the nurse put Tanner on the table. He was so excited to be on the table because he'd been trying to get up there the whole time. Little did he know why he was up there. The nurse cleaned his leg and stabbed him real quick. Tan had a 5 second delayed reaction and then went ballistic. He was screaming, crying, throwing things, and was just down right angry. I was laughing; (like any good parent would do). Somehow, I convinced him to leave the room and head to the car. We grabbed a sucker on the way out and made it home just as nap time became a necessity. Both are sleeping and life is good! Hopefully they won't be cranky tonight!
