Tanner's Birthday

Tanner's 1st birthday was on December 22nd. We were so excited to celebrate our sweet little boy. To think that a year ago he was born prematurely and still in the hospital just blows my mind. You would never have guessed. Tanner is the most adventurous little boy. He'll squirm out of our arms till he is free and able to move around. He loves to crawl and explore furniture and other "non toys". He is almost walking. He has incredible balance and will stand alone for a minute, but is still afraid to walk without holding onto something. Tanner weighs 23lbs and 12 oz. and is 31 inches long (80 percentile for both). He is very healthy and active. Tanner's best gift on his birthday was the news that he was done wearing the helmet. That was great news for Mom, Dad, & Tan. His head looks so much better than it did a few months ago and we are pleased with the outcome. We had a little party for Tanner that night with some family. Thanks to everyone who came and those who came in spirit. Tanner was definitely spoiled. He chowed down on some pizza with his party guests, opened up a ton of wonderful gifts (thanks everyone), and devoured more cake & frosting than his little body was able to handle. Needless to say he was exhausted from a great day. Here are some snapshots from the night. Congrats on being 1 Tanner. We love you so much!
