Let it Snow... Except on Tuesday When There's a 7 AM final

The past week has been eventful! But when is life not eventful. Friday we took off for Park City for our "free" night at Westgate resorts. Justen was not feeling well, but we still decided to go. We were almost there when I had to pull the car over for Justen. It all went downhill from there. We got to the resort and sat throught the 90 min. sales presentation while we both felt like we were gonna die. We finally got through with the presentation pretty fast(I believe it's because Justen kept telling the guy how sick we were & we looked it too!). We collected our $50 and hit the bed. What a fun way to spend your time in Park City!

I think by now we're all healthy and just in time for Christmas! Work is going well for Justen and Courtney is finishing up finals and tons of Christmas gifts for BYUB. And... there's snow! We don't mind snow when you can stay inside and drink hot coco, but driving in it... Tuesday morning at 7AM I had a final and it was snowing! I left the house at 6AM so that I could make it to BYU. I went 20 MPH down state street plowing through 3 inches of snow. I came to a light and it turned red, so I started to brake but I just kept on sliding and I almost slide right into a car turning left. However I turned left hard, yet completely running a red light! Close call.... but then comes the lights behind me! It's 6:45AM and I'm driving in the snow trying to get to BYU and I get pulled over. The cop was way nice and basically asked if I knew what happened. I said, "Ya... I ran a red light. I was braking, but I just kept sliding." He told me to slow down and walked away without even looking at my license. Crazy... but I made it to my final. Hopefully this winter will be accident free... even though I didn't start it out great!
