Tanner's Blessing
Best picture of Tanner where he's not screaming.
We blessed Tanner on May 1st. He looked adorable in his little blessing outfit. However our little angel was far from an angel on his blessing day. We have church at 1; otherwise known as nap hour, and we had a cranky Tanner. Despite our difficulties in keeping Tanner quiet the day was great. Justen gave Tanner a beautiful blessing and we felt so privileged to have so many family and friends there. Thank you to everyone who came. Here are the few photos from Tanner's Day. School's Out for the Summer...actually forever!
I know I've been a terrible blogger recently, but I've been very busy. My plan; to be better about blogging. Today was officially the last day of school! Whew.. It seemed like it would be forever 7 weeks ago, but it flew by fast. I am totally excited about getting to stay home with my little man. I love being with him and can't wait to spend more time together.
Today was a little rough. I'll be the first to admit that I did cry. I really will miss teaching. I loved my two years at Westwind and will forever be grateful for those memories. As I was closing my classroom door for that last time, a flood of memories poured through my mind. Even though the students were a headache a majority of the time there will always be a place in my heart for those unique children of God.
As for the summer. Totally excited; except for this awful heat! We have some fun plans; Utah Vegas, Justen finishing boards, Justen finishing boards, Justen finishing boards, and Justen finishing boards. You can tell we are totally excited for Justen to be done with the "school part" of medical school.
I have lots to post; so please be patient as I post bits of stuff over the next few days! As for now here's a preview!

4 Months
Tanner is 4 months today! I can hardly believe he's growing up so fast. He's getting so big! Tanner is such a good baby and oh so sweet. I'm back at work now which is very difficult. (5 weeks left). I miss Tan during the day so much, but am very grateful he's a good baby. I cherish the time we spend together even more now. I love waking up in the morning to a smiley baby. He loves to smile and receive attention. If you talk to him he'll smile for you. Here are some more recent pictures of the little guy. Monday we'll find out how much he's grown at his Dr.'s appointment. Some of you may be wondering why you haven't heard much about Justen. That's because all he does is study! He lives in the library!

Bentley Cage Johanson
We are SO happy to welcome Baby B to the family! On Sunday, March 27th Cami (my sister) was induced at 4AM. Tanner and I went to Vegas to be with them. All Sunday Tan and I hung out at their apartment waiting for the little guy to arrive. It seemed like she progressed so fast and then waited hours being fully dilated. (Seems like a familiar story). Night came and I wasn't sure what to think. I was feeding Tanner his nightly bottle when my phone rang. It was Cami. However Cami wasn't on the phone. In fact nobody answered the phone. All I could hear was background noise. I stayed on the line because I could tell it was getting intense. A few minutes later I hear a sweet baby's cry. Bentley was born at 6:52PM and was 8 lbs. and 20 inches long. Come to find out Cami's phone was in Jake's pocket and it accidentally called me. It was neat to experience his birth "via phone" though. Tan and I spent a few days there getting to see the baby and visit with Cami. Here are a few pictures of the cute little fella. Congrats Cami & Jake!

Shout Out!
Just a quick shout out to the cutest 3 month old. I know I say this all the time, but I can't believe how big my baby is! Time passes by too quickly and Tanner turned 3 months today! I am continually impressed by this strong spirit and all the progress he is making. Here are a few recent pictures while we've been visiting Nana. Sorry for the poor quality; they were taken on my phone.

Montezuma's Castle
Justen had Spring Break last week, so on Friday we decided to take a day trip to Montezuma's Castle. It was Tanner's first trip and he did great! The weather was beautiful and it felt nice to get out and enjoy a little walk with a pretty scenery.
Sitting contentedly in the stroller.
Momma's little boy!
Someone is very tired after a long afternoon.
